On the night of 6 January, Student Association of UFLS – UDN celebrated the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Vietnamese Students’ Day.
The celebrated welcomed Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Rector of UFLS – UDN, Dr. Duong Minh Quan, president of Student Association at UDN, along with a thousand of staff, students and youths at the university.
Looking back at the tradition of students and student associations in Vietnamm, the president of SA at UFLS – UDN, asserted: “So far, along with students in the nation, the student movements at UFLS – UDN never ceased to grow. Students are becoming more and more patient, hard-working and overcome their difficulties to stand out in their academic performances as well as the activities from the youth unions.”
Movements such as “Model student”, “Voluntary students”, “Students constructing a friendly and healthy educational environment” has created a positive impression on the society, contributed to the education career and nurtured the talents for the nations, parties and for the university.
Different forms of gathering, education of morals, values, lifestyles; artistic and sport activities, helping the people facing the natural disasters… have attracted lots of students. Not only did they contribute to the core mission, but they also helped students understand their rights and benefits.
Acknowledging the achievements and results of SA, Dr. Tran Huu Phuc highlighted: “To nourish the values of our predecessors, students from UFLS follow the steps of the great in learning, researching and helping communities. A lot of students who are role models for overcoming hardship to achieve great success in research have been honored at various contests, competition nationwide and even region-wide.
The party committee and the board of directors at UFLS UDN believed that with all the strength, talents, creativity, generations of students at UFLS UDN today would mature efficiently and the SA would continue to grow to be worth the reputation of the association.
On this occasion, the SA of UFLS UDN organized many activities welcoming the anniversary to educate the youth to commemorate the tradition of previous generations and not to forget the values and patriotism of the students.
In a contest, students from FLTE became one of the runners-up.
