On January 6, 2019, “the Youth of Foreign Language Students 2019″ day was held at the campus of University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Danang (UFLs – UD). The event was held to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and the Vietnam Students’ Association (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2019. On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the University Student’s Association also honored outstanding individuals in the municipal-level movement titled “Students with Five Good Performances” in the academic year 2018-2019.

The festival took place with various activities ranging from group games, booth decorating competitions, flash mod competition to team building skills. This is a useful playground which clearly shows a close companionship of the Students’ Union with its members and students in improving life skills, physical and mental health for students of UFLs -UD.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, M.A Tran Van Thanh – President of the Students’ Association of the University stated: “This is a festival presenting a combination of numerous activities and skills. The festival is expected to create a creative playground and a place for enhancing physical fitness for students of UFLs – UD.”

At the end of the festival, the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students‘ Association, Faculty of Japanese – Korean – Thai convincingly won the First Prize for the whole delegation. Other awards include:
+ Second Prize for the whole delegation: the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students‘ Association, Faculty of English;
+ Third Prize for the whole delegation: the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students‘ Association, Faculty of English for specific purposes and Faculty of French;
+ Consolation Prize for the whole delegation: the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students‘ Association, Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Russian, Faculty of Chinese and Faculty of Foreign Language Teacher Education.
