The voluntary fundraising musical night was a collaboration between Youth Union from Faculty of English, Faculty of Foreign Language Teacher Education and Faculty of French. The show successfully took place with the appearance of lecturers, special guests and hundreds of students.

When Tet comes, everybody begins to decorate their homes, purchasing stuff to prepare for a new year, but somewhere in Danang city, there are still people who live in poverty, suffer from illnesses and facing hardship. We might not be the richest in materials, but we are certain to be rich in energy of youth and kindness. The happiness and well-being that we are enjoying today is owed to the sacrifice and fights of previous generations. And so, there is no doubt that we should be thankful to those who fell down so we could stand up. They who have fought in hundreds of battles are no longer in good health and shape to enjoy the peace as we are now.
Understanding and sympathising with such loss, the youth union of FLTE, FE and FF once again collaborated a small philanthropic activity for a greater cause. It is called the fundraising musical night at 19h 19 January 2019. The programme received a great amount of interests from students at UFLS. All the money received from the musical is used as financial aids for all the poor households, those who are meritorious to the country, veterans and war martyrs. Apart from that, students with financial difficulties are also awarded with scholarships to spark the joy to the communities in Hoa Vang, Danang.”
A field trip to Hoa Son ward commenced at 1 pm 26 January 2019 to deliver the gifts and grants for students and families in poverty.
